JAMG HE ASA Filament is professionally engineered to conquer heat, weather, and impact, transforming your designs into durable, long-lasting functional parts.

Remarkably Tough & Durable

Offers exceptional toughness and mechanical strength, resisting cracks and fractures from drops or stress. Suitable for outdoor applications and regular structural requirements due to its toughness and high impact strength,Such as:functional prototypes, automotive parts, garden fixtures, and protective enclosures.

Extraordinary UV & Weather Resistance

Formulated to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight, rain, and changing elements without fading, becoming brittle, or degrading. Your prints retain their color and strength season after season.

Better Temperature Resistance

With better thermal stability than PETG and ABS, it can withstand high temperatures and maintain its mechanical properties even at high operating temperatures.

Wide Applications

Designed for broad compatibility with mainstream FDM 3D printers, JAMG HE ASA filament delivers exceptional strength, toughness, and impact resistance. This combination of properties, along with its excellent weather resistance, makes it the ideal choice for durable, reliable functional parts that must perform in demanding high-temperature and outdoor environments.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A: ASA is often considered the outdoor version of ABS. While both share excellent toughness and mechanical strength, ASA is specially formulated with superior additives that grant it exceptional UV and weather resistance. Unlike ABS, which yellows and becomes brittle in sunlight, ASA maintains its color, strength, and durability for long-term outdoor use. The printing odor of ASA is also typically lighter than that of ABS.

JAMG HE ASA filament is engineered for demanding applications with four key advantages:
All-Weather Durability: Superior resistance to UV rays, rain, and temperature changes.
High-Temperature Performance: Withstands higher temperatures (Heat Deflection Temperature up to 100°C) than standard ABS or PETG.
High Impact Strength: Exceptionally tough and resistant to cracking or breaking from physical stress.
Wide Compatibility: Designed to work reliably with most common FDM 3D printers.

A:Yes, an enclosed printer is highly recommended and often essential for successful ASA prints. The enclosure maintains a consistent, warm ambient temperature around the print, which drastically reduces cooling stress and prevents warping and layer separation. Printing in an open environment is very likely to lead to failed prints.

A:For best results with JAMG HE ASA:
Nozzle Temperature: 240°C - 270°C
Build Plate Temperature: 90°C - 110°C
Bed Adhesion: Use a glue stick or hairspray on a heated bed for optimal first-layer adhesion.
Printing Speed: A moderate speed of 40-100 mm/s is recommended for quality and reliability.
Filament Drying: It is crucial to dry ASA before printing (4-6 hours at 75-80°C) and store it in a sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture absorption.

A:JAMG HE ASA is the ideal choice for functional parts that face harsh conditions:
Outdoor Applications: Garden fixtures, planters, outdoor housings, signage, and mailboxes.
Automotive Parts: External brackets, prototypes, and custom components.
Durable Functional Prototypes: Enclosures, tools, and mechanical parts requiring high strength and temperature resistance.

A:ASA readily absorbs moisture from the air, which causes it to become brittle and can lead to poor print quality (bubbling, stringing). If your filament snaps easily, it is a clear sign it has absorbed too much moisture. You must dry the spool thoroughly in a filament dryer or food dehydrator at 75-80°C for 4-6 hours before use.

Warping is the main challenge with ASA. Combat it by:
Using an enclosed printer.
Ensuring a clean, heated bed with adhesive (glue stick).
Avoiding cold drafts in the printing room.
Considering a brim for large, flat prints to increase bed adhesion.
